So this is how you do long multiplication. For example, 65×23. First you set it out neatly in your book, you always start with your ones column. So you do 3×5 which is 15 and then you carry the one under the tens column. Then you time’s 3×6 which is 18 and you add the one you carried which is 19 and then you have done with your ones column. NEVER FORGET THE PLACE HOLDER WHICH IS A 0 for when you are in your tens column. then you do 2×5 is 10 and carry the one is 11 and also do 2×6 and then at the end add both of them and you get the answer
